My History

An idealistic, hubris-laden teenager currently serving an unpaid church tour of duty in the heart of Southern California.  He works with a lot of Korean people in the area, teaching, helping, mowing, playing, and mingling with the denizens thereof.

Born near a city referenced frequently as "A-town," he has set down his roots in the DC Metropolitan area.  There, he would usually just hang out by the calm little bayside of the Occoquan River, reminiscing of the things that have come to pass.  A solitary person, he prefers the quietness and the serenity of the natural setting where it's far, far away from the hustle-bustle hecticness of city life.  There, his thoughts gather and collect into one accord, enabling somewhat cohesive sentences to be written upon a small notebook.  Reading is fun to him, along with a variety of other outdoorsy activities.

Having developed an interest in writing not too long ago, he makes a cursory attempt to convey his thoughts and feelings about his religion with his everyday life in Orange County.  In doing so, he aims to reach out to many people, enabling them to hear the restored message of Jesus Christ in the comfort of their own homes or smart-devices.  Hope isn't too far away.

As far as faith goes, he's a convert to the LDS Church-- as of June 16, 2012.  The faith for a convert isn't the easiest, but it's the most rewarding-- to those interested in learning more about the gospel.  It hasn't been an easy journey toward and during conversion, but who said it was easy?  This hardy soul has been roughened through the tests of time-- the tests of those whose sole purpose is to destroy.  Tragedy mounted.  Hardships ensued.  Yet, he still remains.  There.  Go here for more about that story!

You can contact him through email (daniel.chung@myldsmail.net) or facebook if you have any questions about anything-- life, gospel, hobbies, interests, struggles, &c.
